Tara is one of the Veterinary Technicians at Calistoga Pet Clinic and has been a part of the team for a little over two years. Graduating from Pacific Union College in 2011 with a B.S. in Kinesiology, her career started in fitness as a personal trainer and fitness instructor. After 7 years in the industry, she decided to take a break from fitness and focus on her love for animals. Tara works closely with Calistoga’s non-profit organization WCAL, donating her time to fostering year round, helping kittens, puppies, and adult companion animals of all kinds who are in need of a good heart and home. Among the many fosters that come in and out of her care, she owns 5 animals herself, 4 cats and a dog named D.O.G. In her “spare” time, Tara enjoys exercising, trips to the beach, getting lost in a good book, and spending time with family, friends, and her pets!
